Focused, personalized coaching for riders of all ages — kids and adults — who want to progress faster, work on specific skills, or just prefer a more tailored experience.

Choose Your Format

Each session is 2 hours on trail. Groups of 2–3 riders share the cost and often progress faster from riding together.

One 2-hour session on local trails. Book as needed, no commitment required.

All sessions include transport to local trailheads from Mancos. Sessions available weekdays and weekends, subject to trail conditions and availability.

Session Focus

What We Work On

Private sessions are tailored to each rider's level and goals. We start with an assessment and build from there.

Fundamentals

Body position, braking, shifting, balance, and the core skills every trail rider needs.

Climbing

Weight distribution, cadence, line choice, and staying smooth on technical ascents.

Cornering

Outside foot down, looking through the turn, carrying speed instead of braking into corners.

Descending

Weight back, heels down, absorbing terrain with arms and legs, committing to the line.

Obstacles & Features

Rolling rocks and roots, drops, small jumps, and building confidence on technical terrain.

Trail Confidence

Reading terrain ahead, managing risk, riding within your limits — and knowing when to push them.

How It Works

Reach Out

Email or text Chris with your age, current skill level, and what you want to work on. If you're not sure, that's fine too — we'll figure it out together.

Pick a Date

We'll find a time that works and confirm the meeting spot. Sessions run rain or shine unless trail conditions are unsafe — in that case we'll reschedule.

Show Up & Ride

Meet in Mancos, we drive to the trailhead, and spend two hours working on real skills on real terrain. No parking lot drills — everything happens on the trail.

Keep Progressing

After each session you'll get a quick summary of what we worked on and what to practice before the next one. Most riders see real improvement within 2–3 sessions.
